Campbell has worked globally in the minerals industry for twenty-five years with experience covering mineral exploration and mining, business development, stakeholder relations, investment promotion and joint industry/academia research.

Campbell has a BSc (Hons) in Geology and began his career as an exploration geologist in Australia and Latin America, followed by a role managing the Minerals Unit for the New Zealand Government. He has held upper management roles with mineral sector consultancies, government, and industry.

He is a director of Kenex Knowledge Systems, where he was previously CEO for seven years, has acted as an advisor to a TSX-listed mineral exploration company, ASX-listed Australian exploration and development companies, and has been part of the New Zealand Government’s science research funding assessment panel.
