| ABSTRACT: | WA gold company Latitude Consolidated (ASX: LCD) is pleased to advise that it has confirmed the potential for an extensive shallow gold zone at the Tim’s Find prospect, part of its 100%-owned Mt Ida South Gold Project in WA (Figure 1), after receiving final assay results from recently completed RC drilling. The drilling has defined a significant zone of shallow mineralisation extending over a strike length of at least 900m which remains open to the south. Because of the grade of the mineralisation and its proximity to surface, this prospect is considered to be a strategically important development for Latitude and is likely to become a key focus for ongoing exploration efforts in the Mt Ida region. The final assay results pertain to 1m split samples that were collected in areas that have been identified as either mineralised (>1g/t Au) or anomalous (>0.10g/t Au) from the four metre composite assays (see Table 1). This report finalises all drilling results from this program, which was undertaken at the Mt Ida South and Quinns Projects. All drill hole details and JORC Table 1 relating to this drilling was detailed comprehensively in ASX release dated 4 th November 2016. The 1m split samples from the mineralised composite intersections at Tim’s Find were collected and submitted for assay. These samples had not been collected prior to the last release. As expected, outstanding results have been confirmed from Tim’s Find where 1 metre sample splits have returned intersections of Drill holes 16LCRC025 & 16LCRC026 are located at the southern end of the Tim’s Find prospect with hole 16LCRC026 located 20m to the south of the current resource boundary (Figure 2). | |
