ABSTRACT:Gold developer West African Resources Limited (ASX, TSXV: WAF) is pleased to report further high-grade drilling results from its Sanbrado Gold Project, Burkina Faso. Managing Director Richard Hyde commented: “Extensional diamond drilling has intercepted two zones of high-grade mineralisation returning 11m at 10.5 g/t and 6m at 24.4 g/t Au at more than 650m down hole. “M1 South continues to deliver consistent high-grade results at more than 500m vertical and remains open at depth and strongly mineralised. “The Company will release an updated resource estimate and significantly improved Feasibility Study incorporating open pit and underground mine schedules later this quarter.” M1 South Drilling Program Drilling at M1 South is currently targeting extensions to known mineralisation at +500m depth now that infill resource definition drilling between 300m and 500m has been completed. Resource estimation studies are in progress and will incorporate new results released today. The updated resource estimate for M1 South will be released with the updated Feasibility Study later this quarter. Today’s results demonstrate excellent continuity of high grade gold mineralisation at depth in at M1 South. TAN18-DD189 intercepted 11m at 10.5 g/t from 654 and 6m at 24.4 g/t Au including 0.5m at 240 g/t Au from 675m. This result is approximately 90m down plunge of TAN17-DD166B which returned 13.5m 18.2 g/t Au and 2.5m at 44 g/t Au. In addition, TAN18-DD196, has intercepted 3.5m at 12.8 g/t from 693 and 1m at 9.2 g/t Au 705.5m, 20m to the southeast of TAN18-DD189 indicating the high shoot remains wide open at depth and along strike to the northwest. Further drilling is in progress.
