| ABSTRACT: | VAL-D'OR, QC, May 30, 2018 /CNW/ - VisionLithiumInc. (TSXV:VLI) (OTC:ABEPF) (the"Company"or"VLI") is pleased to announce theinitialresults fromits 1,500 metre drilling programconsisting ofapproximately 25 shallowdrill holes targeting the #5 Dyke outcrop area. The Sirmaclithiumproperty,acquired fromNemaska LithiumInc. ("Nemaska"),consists of 194 mining claims having atotalarea ofapproximately 10,350 hectares,and is located 180 kilometres by road north-west ofChibougamau, Quebec "Iamvery pleased with our initial drilling results. Thetwin holeisalmostan exact replica ofthe hole originally drilled byNemaska back in 2011, and gives usadded confidencein the balance oftheir historicalwork. Hole SIR-18-02 isan infill holeand returned excellent widthsand grade. Results over 1%Li2O are what we want to see, these gradesare quiteexceptionaland weare very pleased to seesuch significant widths,"said Yves Rougerie, Presidentand CEO ofVisionLithium. Rougeriecontinued, "Our nextstep will beto start the metallurgywork to demonstratethat this materialcanmakean acceptableconcentrate. We aretargeting aconcentrate of 6%Li2O or higher. We will usethecorefromour drill programfor the metallurgicaltesting at thelab. Once wesee theresults ofthe metallurgywe willconfirmthat theconcentratecanmakea battery gradelithiumhydroxideand lithiumcarbonate. We have contacted thelab to book this testing." The #5 Dykeis theinitialtarget,as the historicalwork done byNemaskaand previous operators was primarily focused on this large outcrop. Sinceacquiring the property, VisionLithiumhasacquired another 170 claims surrounding the originalclaimsand extending several kmeastward, thus providing forample newexploration and potential drilltargets in addition to the #5 Dyke. Summer field explorationwork is planned for the newly acquired claims. | |
