| ABSTRACT: | Gold exploration and development company Vango Mining Limited (ASX: VAN) (“Vango” or, “the Company”) is pleased to announce further outstanding high-grade gold intersections from its recently completed drilling program at the Company’s 100%-owned Plutonic Dome Gold Project in the Mid West region of Western Australia. The drilling programme comprised five diamond core drillholes for 946 metres plus three RC holes for 747 metres at Vango’s flagship Trident Gold Deposit, plus 15 RC holes for a total of 1,424 metres at the nearby K1 Deposit at the Plutonic Dome Project (see Figure 5, Project Location Map). The results reported in this announcement follow the recently released first assay results which also intersected significant high grade gold mineralisation in drill holes VTDD0001 and VTDD0003 (ASX announcement 29 June 2017); All assays from the key zones at Trident have now been received. Refer Figures 1 to 3 for cross sections of diamond drilling intersections and Table 1 for details of key intercepts returned to date. The drilling was designed to test the geometry of the high-grade “ramp” structure or flexure seen in Figures 1 to 3 and possibly extend the high grade zone of mineralisation. Each completed drillhole from the programme (7 of 9 holes) intersected the high-grade mineralised zone which remains open at depth on all three 40m spaced cross sections. | |
