| ABSTRACT: | Valor Resources Limited (Valor) (the Company) (ASX: VAL) is pleased to provide an update on activities at the Berenguela copper-silver project. Dr Nicholas Lindsay, Executive Director commented: ‘Throughout 2019, the exploration work at Berenguela was conducted under the auspice of the joint venture option agreement signed with subsidiaries of Rio Tinto as announced in January 2019. The results from that exploration campaign were mixed and inconclusive. Whilst the additional data has assisted in helping us develop a more thorough view of the mineralised system, it has failed to achieve its objective of identifying the source of the mineralisation. Given this, the JV option agreement is not being renewed and we are considering the most appropriate way forward.” | |
