| ABSTRACT: | Trilogy Metals Inc. (Trilogy Metals) formerly known as NovaCopper, Inc. retained BD Resource Consulting, Inc. (BDRC) and Sim Geological Inc. (SGI), to prepare an updated mineral resource estimate for the Bornite Project and disclose it in a technical report prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 and Form 43-101F1 (collectively “NI 43-101”). The Bornite Property (the Property) is part of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) mineral tenure package, which includes the Bornite Deposit, as well as numerous additional mineral showings/deposits. The Property is located in the Ambler mining district of the southern Brooks Range, in the Northwest Arctic Borough (NWAB) of Alaska. The Property is located 248 km east of the town of Kotzebue, 19 km north of the village of Kobuk, and 275 km west of the Dalton Highway, an all-weather state maintained highway. Figure 1-1 shows the location of the Property. This updated mineral resource estimate and NI 43-101 Technical Report includes assays from an additional 10,907 m of previously un-sampled historical drill core completed during the 2014 exploration program. This amended report replaces and supersedes the previous resource estimate for the Bornite Project in its entirety. The previous resource estimate was filed on SEDAR on May 16, 2016 and had an effective date of April 19, 2016. | |
