| ABSTRACT: | Trek Metals Limited (“Trek” or “Company”) is pleased to announce strong assay results for a further 14 drill holes from the recently completed drilling programme at its flagship Kroussou Zinc ‐Lead Project in Gabon (“Kroussou” or “Project”). Results from the final three holes are expected to be received shortly. Assays from two new drillholes completed within a very high‐grade, particularly lead rich section of the Dikaki Channel have confirmed that it contains a highly significant accumulation of sulphide mineralisation, very near to the surface, with results including 4.0m @ 15.2% Zn + Pb (DKDD029, from 8.1m) and 2.8m @ 6.0% Zn + Pb (DKDD029, from 8.9m) (Figures 2 and 3). This presents an excellent opportunity to grow with more drilling. Further drilling within the more advanced zone within Dikaki (Refer Figure 4) continues to provide greater certainty around continuity of mineralisation down‐dip and along strike with the zone remaining open in all directions (Figure 4). Intersections returned include 21.0m @ 3.2% Zn + Pb (DKDD033, from 25.0m) including 9.0m @ 4.5% Zn + Pb and 12.0m @ 3.0% Zn + Pb (DKDD031, from 4.0m) including 2.8m @ 5.9% Zn + Pb. In a continuing theme for mineralisation within the Kroussou Project, these holes again highlight the scale of the mineralising system with the interval from DKDD033 being from a broader full width of 52.6m @ 1.9% Zn + Pb from 1.4m. | |
