| ABSTRACT: | Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) was retained by Tinka Resources Limited (Tinka) to prepare an independent Technical Report on the Ayawilca Property (the Property), located in central Peru. The purpose of this report is to support the disclosure of an updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Property. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. RPA visited the Property and other project related facilities from January 11 to 13, 2016. The updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Ayawilca Zinc Zone and the initial Mineral Resource estimate for the Ayawilca Tin Zone, with the effective date of May 25, 2016 are listed in Tables 1-1 and 1-2, respectively. The Mineral Resources of the two Ayawilca zones are reported separately since the zones host different metals and are spatially separated. The Mineral Resource estimate for the Colquipucro silver deposit, located 1.5 km from the Ayawilca Zinc Zone, remains unchanged since the last resource update of February 23, 2015 and is listed in Table 1-3. The Mineral Resource estimates conform to Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Definition Standards for Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves dated May 10, 2014 (CIM definitions). | |
