| ABSTRACT: | Tietto Managing Director Dr Caigen Wang commented: “The discovery of new high‐grade, near‐surface gold at the Golikro prospect further confirms excellent continuity of gold mineralisation within the overall 70km of gold mineralised strike length at Abujar. “Coupled with the gold discoveries announced in April at Pischon South and previously announced deeper diamond core results at Abujar Main, this latest discovery suggests Tietto should be able to significantly upgrade the current resource at Abujar later this year. The results also highlight the need to drill test the 1km gap between the Pischon South and Golikro prospects. “The discoveries at Golikro and Pischon South have proven that drilling shallow RC holes in gold anomalies from soil geochemistry is an effective and fast approach to uncover gold within the Abujar mineralisation corridor. By applying this approach, we may be able to quickly and costeffectively identify many more gold prospects within the known 40km strike length gold anomaly in soil at the Abujar gold project.” | |
