| ABSTRACT: | West African gold explorer Tietto Minerals Limited (ASX: TIE) (Tietto or the Company) is pleased to report multiple intercepts of high‐grade gold mineralisation have extended current depth limits of the AG deposit, part of its Abujar Gold Project, in Côte d’Ivoire, West Africa. Tietto’s ongoing drill program is on track to complete 30,000m in 2019 with latest results to be incorporated into a major resource update due for delivery in Q4 CY19. Tietto Managing Director, Dr Caigen Wang, said: “These latest results have extended the limits of known gold mineralisation by up to 130m in places. Our drilling continues to intersect high‐ grade gold mineralisation on section after section. Between lines 16 to 29, we now have 68 intervals of 20 gram metres, within this there are 25 intervals reporting over 50 gram metres which includes nine intervals greater than 100 gram metres. “These high impact results, coupled with our aggressive drilling schedule, means that we are on track to deliver another resource update in Q4, our second for the year. We believe that there is much more to come: the Abujar shear remains underexplored with 90% of the 70km long shear zone remaining to be tested. “Our exploration team has completed an upgrade of more than 40km of internal access roads within the Abujar Middle tenement which hosts the current Abujar JORC resources. This work was commissioned to ensure drilling can run smoothly and safely through the wet season. “Tietto will host a resource analyst visit on site early in September. There has been considerable recent interest in the activities of the Company, given the significant growth in our resource base and an aggressive drilling program underpinned by our own fleet of diamond drill rigs. Tietto is well placed to deliver significant news flow from drilling results over a period of 12 months and beyond.” | |
