ABSTRACT:Tesoro Resources Limited (Tesoro or the Company) (ASX:TSO) is pleased to announce that further wide high-grade assay results have been received from the Coquetas prospect at the El Zorro Gold Project, (Chile) for holes ZDDH00018, ZDDH00019 and ZDDH00022. Holes ZDDH00018 and ZDDH00022 intersected the CC500 mineralised structure (Figure 1) which has previously reported thick gold intercepts including: The CC500 fault zone is a high-grade gold bearing zone cross cutting the El Zorro Tonalite (EZT) and host sedimentary rocks. The CC500 fault zone is one of a series of NW trending fault zones controlling gold mineralisation at Coquetas. Gold mineralisation within the CC500 has been intersected in multiple diamond drill holes and has currently been defined by drilling over 180m of its strike, between 20m and 80m wide with drill intercepts within the high grade zone ranging between 3.00g/t Au and 7.50g/t Au (Figure 2). The high-grade mineralisation occurs within a broad lower grade envelope up to 200m wide, with gold grades between 0.50g/t and 1.50g/t defined by drilling and surface sampling.
