| ABSTRACT: | Tanga Resources Ltd (ASX: TRL) (Tanga or the Company) is pleased to report the complete drilling results from the Main Gossan and Main Gossan West targets, within the Company’s Hagenhof Copper Project (Hagenhof) in Namibia. Assay results from diamond and RC drilling have now been received and a 15 metre wide breccia zone containing sulphide mineralisation consisting of chalcopyrite-pyrrhotite-pyrite has been intersected from 202 metres down hole. Assay results have been received for three diamond holes (diamond tails), totalling approximately 281 metres and targeting the down plunge extension to the copper mineralisation at Main Gossan, as well as 2,571 metres of RC reconnaissance drilling at several other targets including Main Gossan North and West Gossan. HRCDD003 was drilled on the southwestern extension of the ground electro-magnetic conductor identified from the time domain electromagnetic surveys conducted late last year1 (See Figure 2) and is 150m southwest of previously drilled holes which included These latest drill results have now confirmed a wide zone of copper mineralisation at Main Gossan with over 400m of strike, remaining open at depth to the south southwest (plunge direction 210˚). | |
