ABSTRACT:The aim of this report is to provide a comprehensive review of all work completed on the Mahtin claim block package prior to the acquisition of the properties by StrikePoint Gold Inc. Focus will be primarily on the 2012 work program conducted on the property under the operator at the time, Ryan Gold Corporation. The author of this report was the chief geologist of Ryan Gold’s exploration activity in 2012, as such, has the viable experience and necessary credentials to report on the properties with transparency. Work undertaken by Ryan Gold Corp. in 2013 consisted of the collection of 53 grab samples from the two geochemical targets (May-Qu and Mahtin North). Although the results bolstered the presence of these targets, the two-day program did not advance the understanding beyond the major work undertaken in 2012 and did not constitute any material change. Further information regarding the 2012 and 2013 seasons was provided by the Ryan Gold Corporation’s project geologist, Scott Dorion, who oversaw onsite exploration activity on the Mahtin Property and provided additional comments. Although exploration activity has been dormant on the Mahtin Property since 2013, the property has switched hands of ownership several times and should be reviewed. The author of this report believes the next step in exploring the potential of the Mahtin Property is to complete a minimum of 1000-meter drill program using a Class 1 Permit drilling technique such as RAB to test the mineralisation potential of the intrusive stocks on the property, as well as determining geometry, extent and oxidation depth.
