| ABSTRACT: | Stellar Resources Limited (ASX: SRZ, “Stellar” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a high grade drill intersection for ZS132, the first drill hole of the 2017 campaign targeting the Severn tin deposit (see Figures 2 and 3 for location). The hole was designed to intersect stockwork mineralisation of the Severn deposit at right angles to the historical drilling direction with the objective of testing:- the position of the mineralisation relative to the modelled resource boundary; continuity of tin mineralisation with respect to the strike direction of the deposit; the nature of high grade mineralisation (>1.0% tin); and to test whether a relationship exists between grade and structure. The upper boundary of the mineralisation is in agreement with the modelled boundary and its nature characterised by an increased level of alteration and veining. Shear zones intersected at 205m downhole appear to define the upper edge of the broader zone of alteration surrounding the tin mineralisation and could prove to be a useful exploration tool. Importantly, continuity of tin mineralisation was demonstrated along strike by the majority of tin bearing stockwork veins. This observation supports the geological model and increases confidence in the resource model. | |
