| ABSTRACT: | Stellar Resources Limited (ASX: SRZ, “Stellar” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce significant tin and base-metal assays for ZQ134 and wedge hole ZQ134W that targeted the upper northern edge of the LQH deposit (see Figures 3 and 5 for the surface trace and resource pierce point of the drill holes). The main LQH tin mineralisation was intersected by ZQ134 and wedge hole ZQ134W. The geology of both intersections is the same but only ZQ134W was assayed as ZQ134 will be used for compression and bond work index testing before assaying. The full intersection for LQH in ZQ134W is 7m at 0.61% tin within which lies two high grade zones. First is 2m at 1.32% tin from 219m and the second is 1m at 1.27% tin from 225m (see Table 1 and Figure 1). Stellar Resources Limited is a tin exploration and development company that is focused on developing its flagship Heemskirk Tin Project in western Tasmania. The project has two significant competitive advantages. First, Heemskirk has a JORC 2012 compliant Mineral Resource of 6.4mt @ 1.13% Sn which makes it the highest grade undeveloped tin project of significance listed on the ASX. Second it has an excellent location within the historic west coast mining district of Tasmania (see Figure 7). Access to existing infrastructure including power, sealed roads and water is a significant advantage over more remote tin projects. In addition, the project is located next to the mining town of Zeehan which provides a supportive community, access to skilled miners and accommodation. The service industry, established to support existing long-term mines in the district, also provides an opportunity for access to competitive suppliers. | |
