| ABSTRACT: | Stavely Minerals Limited (ASX Code: SVY – “Stavely Minerals”) is pleased to advise that assays from recently completed diamond drilling at the Thursday’s Gossan prospect, part of its 100%-owned Stavely Copper-Gold Project in western Victoria (Figures 1, 2 and 3), have provided the Company with confirmation of a strong vector to the target porphyry at depth. Diamond drill hole SMD047 has returned a broad copper intercept including several highergrade intervals of copper-gold-silver mineralisation. SMD047 was drilled in the opposite direction (070 degrees azimuth) to previously reported drill holes SMD044 and SMD045 and their ‘daughter’ wedge holes. All of these new holes have intersected both very broad zones of low-grade copper mineralisation and significant intervals of high-grade structurally-controlled copper-goldsilver mineralisation in the North-South Structure (NSS) and the Copper-Lode Splay (CLS). In the plane of the structures the high-grade copper-gold-silver mineralisation clearly reflects a steep southerly plunge to the mineralisation. Additionally, and not confined to the structures, a series of independent datasets all confirm the steep southerly plunge of a ‘conduit’ through which the copper-gold-silver mineralising fluids have travelled from depth. | |
