ABSTRACT:The issuer, Patriot Petroleum Corp., has the right by making staged payments of earning an undivided 100% interest subject to a NSR in the BLD 1 thru 16 and BLD 41 thru 79 unpatented association placer claims totaling 4020 acres. The claims are in good standing on Federal lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management in San Bernardino County, California and generally cover the ground that had been open between placer claim blocks held by the two large salt producers on the Bristol Lake playa. The legal precedents, framework and the guidance from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management for staking and producing lithium brines from valley sediments require locating placer claims. Two separate and independent geologic processes are proposed to be at work at Bristol Lake. One created the surface and near surface concentrations of salt brines and minerals which have been exploited continuously for over a century. A separate and independent geologic process is suggested by field evidence and four historic lithium analyses at levels of current economic interest, 71 – 110 mg/L (ppm) Li, from two 1978 US Geological Survey drill holes on the playa. That process would have fed lithium brines into the basin from beneath. The lithium potential has never been adequately drill tested. A confirmation program of gravity to site drill holes and two drill holes to test the historic values is recommended. A direct cost budget of $US 350,000 detailed under ‘RECOMMENDATIONS’ is proposed to accomplish those goals. The budgeted program will be successful if drilling penetrates interval(s) with a thickness and lithium content to be of potential economic interest. Further work depends upon the results of the proposed program and would fall under a separate budget.
