ABSTRACT:Emerging West Australian nickel company St George Mining Limited (ASX: SGQ) (“St George” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that the latest assays received for drilling at the Mt Alexander Project, located near Leonora in the northern Goldfields, have confirmed further high-grade nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation along a +400m strike at the Stricklands Prospect; see Figure 1. Laboratory assays have confirmed the following thick intersections of mineralisation at Stricklands MAD105 and MAD106 were drilled in the far west of the Stricklands prospect area (see Figure 1), and the results from these drill holes indicate that mineralisation is open to the west. St George Mining Executive Chairman, John Prineas said: “The assay results confirm that the recent drill programme has substantially increased the footprint of highgrade nickel-copper sulphide mineralisation at Stricklands. “New high-grade intersections were identified in the west, north and east of the prospect area indicating that the mineralised ultramafic remains open in these directions. “A follow-up drill programme for Stricklands is being designed, and we are confident that additional nickelcopper sulphides will be intersected.”
