ABSTRACT:Sky Metals Limited (‘SKY’ or ‘The Company’) is pleased to provide an update on its exploration activity at the Tallebung Tin Project. The completion of surface rockchip sampling has highlighted the potential for extensions to shallow high-grade tin lodes at Tallebung (Figure 1). High grade rockchip results, including up to 5.4% tin, 1% tungsten, 194ppm silver support the recent RC drilling results (ASX 23 July 2019) and suggest a likely southern continuation of the high grade tin lode package at shallow depths (Figure 1). Results from the first diamond core hole, TBD001 have been received with only one result of +1% tin reported, being 1m @ 1.07% Sn from 550m downhole. The strongly veined, and sulphide mineralised section of the hole did not report high-grade tin results. These results, together with the high-resolution gravity surveying (ASX 4 September 2019) indicate the positive gravity feature represents a zone of sulphides within the Tallebung Tin System. Whilst the association of tin with sulphides, especially sphalerite, appears apparent in sections of the RC results (e.g. 2m @ 1.54% Sn, 5.4% Zn from 114m, TBRC006), the sulphide zone appears to largely represent an alteration feature in the footwall to the tin bearing lodes within the broader system (Figure 2). The wedge core hole (TBRCD003A) has been completed at 567.8m testing downdip from the newly discovered high-grade tin mineralisation in TBRC004.
