| ABSTRACT: | MONTREAL – The management of SIRIOS (TSX-V: SOI) is pleased to announce assay results for seven additional drill holes completed in 2018, located to the north-west of the main drilled area of the Cheechoo gold property. Three holes (#152, 155 and 157), drilled across the NW-SE trending tonalite/meta-sediment contact, intersected gold mineralization similar to previously reported holes #117, 119, 121, 148, 150 (ref.: press releases June 6, 2018 and February 8, 2018). These holes distributed along the same contact, extend the known mineralized strike length for an additional 350 meters to the north-west of the November trench as shown on the map below. Three additional holes (#153, 156, 158) were drilled in the same area, within the tonalite intrusive and also crossing the contact at depth. Hole #156 intersected a zone of 0.6 g/t Au over 133.2 m, which is interpreted to be a NNW extension of similar intercepts in holes #106, 143 and 145. Hole #158, with an intercept of 1.0 g/t Au over 38.9 m, indicates that this zone is still open the northwest. In addition, hole #160, drilled approximately 200 meters west of these six holes, ended with a 1.5 m intercept of 7.8 g/t Au. | |
