| ABSTRACT: | VANCOUVER, Oct. 19, 2017 /CNW/ - SilverCrest Metals Inc. ("SilverCrest"or the"Company") is pleased to announceadditionalPhaseII drillresults for the Las Chispas Property (the"Property") located in Sonora, Mexico. Step-out drilling targeting extensions ofthe Babicanora Vein continues to intersect high-grade mineralization. With thelatest results, SilverCrest has drill-tested the Babicanora Vein overa 600 metrestrike length (previously 500 metres), with a near-surface mineralized height of 150 to 175 metres. In addition, drilling has intersected high-grades in two veins named Granaditasand Amatista(Amethyst)at the Babicanoraarea(seeattached Figures). With thesetwo newdiscoveries, SilverCrest has nowintersected high-gradesilver-gold mineralization on nine ofthe 19 known epithermal veins on the Property includingBabicanora, Babicanora Footwall(FW), Las Chispas, Giovanni(includes La Blanquitaextension), WilliamTell, Varela, Granaditasand Amatista(Amethyst) veins. Eric Fier, CPG, P.Eng, Presidentand CEO, remarked, "Ourcontinued step-out drilling along thestrike ofthe Babicanora Vein hasadded another 100 metres to the previously announced high-gradefootprint. Our first holes in the Granaditasand Amatista veins, which intersected highgrade mineralization,continueto showfurther untested potentialin the district.
