| ABSTRACT: | Saturn Metals Limited (ASX: STN) (“Saturn” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce additional positive drill results from holes 14-24 of the planned 48-hole, 5,900m RC and diamond drilling campaign underway at its 100%-owned Apollo Hill Gold Project, near Leonora in the Western Australian goldfields. Figure 1 illustrates results in geological cross-section for fuller context. Results including: AHRC0128 - 26m @ 1.19g/t Au from 1m including 10m @ 2.1g/t Au from 8m, and AHRC135 – 22m @ 1.5g/t Au from 128m including 12m @ 2.33g/t Au from 128m help define a continuous higher grade (+2g/t Au) lode on the footwall side of the Apollo Hill Resource envelope. The cross-section in Figure 1 also illustrates how assays remain pending for a drill hole (AHRC0136) designed to further test higher grade hanging wall positions as recently defined in Saturn Metals recent ASX announcement on 16 April 2019 (10m @ 5.78g/t Au from 46m inc. 5m @ 11g/t Au from 46m – AHRC0124) b . Figure 2 illustrates the position of new drill results in plan view. Table 1 details all significant results and Table 2 lists all reported hole details. Saturn Managing Director Ian Bamborough said: “These excellent results will be a great addition to our next resource update planned for the second half of 2019. It is great to see the continuity of improved grade within the current resource envelope. In addition, further strong intersections such as AHRC0127 – 6m @ 5.21g/t Au from 37m in the hanging wall zone, continue to give us cause for excitement.” The Company is planning to complete another 5,000m of drilling at Apollo Hill in the coming months. Assay results from the ongoing drilling program will be reported as received. | |
