| ABSTRACT: | Saturn Metals (ASX:STN) (“Saturn”, “the Company”) is pleased to announce results from reverse circulation (RC) drilling around the high grade hanging-walls at Apollo Hill on its 100% owned Apollo Hill Gold Project, 60km from Leonora in the Western Australian goldfields. Drilling is being undertaken at Apollo Hill as part of the Company’s efforts to rapidly expand and improve the newly discovered higher-grade hanging wall zones and to grow and improve the Project’s 781,000oz Mineral Resource1. Geology and results from around recent high grade intersections including 12m @ 9.98g/t Au from 269m – AHRC0312 and 8m @12.9g/t Au from 126m – AHRC0330 (see ASX announcements 14 January 2020 and 19 February 2020 respectively) now suggest a westerly dipping structural corridor as illustrated and interpreted in the composite cross section in Figure 1. The greater structural and mineralised corridor at Apollo Hill - now known to be over 500m in width - is interpreted to be a text book geological thrust and fault structure (Flower Structure) associated with the nearby gold fertile Keith Kilkenny Lineament and the Pig Well Graben (See Figure 3 for broader geological and mineral endowment context). | |
