ABSTRACT: | The Margarita property is located in the Municipality of Satevó, in the South-central part of the State of Chihuahua, Northern Mexico. The property is situated approximately 90 Km SE in a straight line of the city of Cuauhtemoc and 120 Km SW of the city of Chihuahua, the state capital. The project covers two contiguous titled mining concessions called El Tren and Margarita that comprise 125.625 hectares. These mining concessions are 50% owned by Compañia Minera La Perla and 50% by Minas Guilloyna, and are under an exploration agreement with purchase option with Exploraciones Sable S de R.L. de C.V., a Mexican subsidiary of Sable Resources Ltd. (Sable), to acquire 100% interest in the Margarita property. Sable initiated geological reconnaissance of the property in September 2017, to confirm the existence of mineralized systems of potential economic interest. The style of mineralization identified at the Margarita property consists of a series of quartz-barite-calcite epithermal veinsbreccias of low to intermediate sulphidation affinity hosted by volcanic rocks of andesitic and rhyolitic composition. Later, in May 2018 and following the reconnaissance program, a detailed mapping and geochemical sampling program was carried to differentiate the distinctive lithological units; hydrothermal alteration and zoning; and identify structures controlling mineralization. Five veins have been recognized to date in the project, Margarita, El Caido, Juliana, Fabiana and Marie. The Margarita Vein is the main structure and can be traced on surface for over at least 1.6km along strike. Its strike is N50°-80°W | |
