| ABSTRACT: | The following Technical Report (herein after “the Report”) is a review and compilation of the exploration and metallurgical work performed by SEMAFO on the Bantou Property (“Property”). At the request of SEMAFO, DRA/Met-Chem has been mandated to prepare a NI 43 101 Report for the Project with the participation of specialized consultants. Met-Chem, a division of DRA Americas Inc. (“DRA/Met-Chem”) has provided engineering and integration services for all aspects of the NI 43- 101 Technical Report Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”) on the Bantou Project. The Bantou Project is located in Burkina Faso, West Africa, approximately 260 km south-west of Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso in Figure 1.1. It is centred on UTM coordinates 406,900 mE and 1,171,300 mN (WGS84, zone 31N). Access to Bantou camp is by means of Route Nationale RN01, an all-weather bitumen road from Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, through Boromo to the Pâ junction. From there, travel is via RN12 followed by RN20, also all-weather bitumen road through the town of Diebougou, to the Bondigui junction. From Bondigui, travel is made via successions of laterite roads to the property, located some 62 km to the southwest. | |
