| ABSTRACT: | S2 Resources Ltd (“S2” or the “Company”) advises that results have been received for a further seven RC holes and one diamond hole drilled to follow up the original high grade gold intercepts in RC holes SPBC0313 and SPBC0320 previously reported in the Company’s ASX announcement of 21st July 2016. The diamond hole (SPBD0325) was drilled on the original RC drill section and further down dip of the first diamond hole reported in the ASX announcement of 19th September 2016 (SPBD0324), and, as expected based on the revised interpretation of the mineralization described in that announcement, did not intersect any material mineralization. The seven RC holes were drilled on lines which are located 60 and 100 metres north of SPBC0313 (the high grade RC intercept of 66 metres @ 11.4g/t gold). These holes are located 20 and 60 metres north of hole SPBC0320 (the second high grade RC intercept of 38 metres @ 6.41 g/t gold) which were both reported in the ASX announcement of 21st July 2016. Like the previously reported follow up holes, these follow up holes were also drilled towards the west in the opposite direction to the original RC intercepts, which as described in the ASX announcement of 19th September 2016 may not be the optimal orientation. | |
