| ABSTRACT: | Rox Resources Limited (ASX: RXL) (“Rox” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce encouraging assay results from the Company’s recently completed RC drilling campaign at its Collurabbie nickel project, located 230km north of Laverton in Western Australia (Figure 1). Rox Managing Director, Mr Ian Mulholland said, “We are pleased with the results from this Collurabbie RC drilling program. We continue to refine the regional targets at Collurabbie, and the results from Olympia North which include 2m @ 1.1% Ni, 0.7% Cu, demonstrate this. “In addition, the holes drilled at the Olympia deposit demonstrate that the nickel sulphide system there continues at shallow depth, and have also improved our understanding of the structural setting. “Our continuing aim is to make new massive nickel sulphide discoveries through exploration, while at the same time increasing resources at known deposits and continuing to assess development options. This latest drilling program has moved us toward that goal.” Current JORC 2012 Mineral Resources at Collurabbie total 573 kt @ 1.6% Ni, 1.2% Cu, 0.082% Co and 2.3 g/t Pt+Pd, 2.3% NiEq* for 13,500 tonnes contained NiEq (ASX:RXL 18 August 2017). | |
