| ABSTRACT: | The Karibib Gold Project (“the Project”) in Namibia is an early stage exploration project, located in the Republic of Namibia (“Namibia”). It comprises a group of exploration targets occurring in closely located Exclusive Prospecting Licences (“EPLs”) within the Northern Central zone of the Damara Orogen, but centered around Omaruru, some 173 km northwest of the country’s capital Windhoek. Osino holds the controlling share in the rights to 6 EPLs in this region and applied for two additional EPLs. The confirmed gold exploration targets within this group of EPLs are referred to as the Karibib Gold Project. Although the area has been subjected to various phases of exploration in the past, it has not progressed to more advanced stage of exploration, due to a poor understanding of the structural and lithological controls of mineralization and a resulting inability to establish geological continuity, required for Mineral Resource delineation. This report will show that such an understanding is now being developed and that following the planned infill drilling it should be possible to define and delineate Mineral Resources in these areas. The Project is located in central Namibia in the area known as the Central Plateau approximately 150 km northwest of the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek. The Project refers to six contiguous or closely spaced EPLs with a combined size of 988.5 km2 (98 850 ha). | |
