| ABSTRACT: | Resources & Energy (ASX: REZ) is pleased to announce a series of high-grade results from its maiden drilling program at the Goodenough gold deposit within its Menzies Project, 130km north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The results, which include intersections of up to 9g/t, will underpin the Company’s plan to update the existing JORC 2004 Resource of 36,850 oz Au at 2.08g/t(1) to JORC 2012 compliance. Goodenough hosts a series of old workings including shallow pits and two undergrounds shaft which were last mined in 2011. Importantly, the style of mineralisation seen at Goodenough is among those repeated in a series of historic working which extend along a 10km-long corridor to the south, highlighting the immense potential to grow the Menzies inventory.
