| ABSTRACT: | Zinc developer Red River Resources Limited (ASX: RVR) (“Red River” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce details on its exploration activities at Thalanga Far West, part of the Thalanga Zinc Project in Queensland. Red River has received assay results for TH684, TH685 and TH686 from its planned initial fifteen hole Far West infill drilling program. An additional universal drill rig has been mobilised to Liontown East and has commenced drilling the fourth hole (LTED04) at this exciting target. Red River now has three drill rigs active at the Thalanga Project, with two diamond drill rigs drilling TH688 and TH689 at Far West. On completion of TH688, one of the diamond drill rigs will commence drilling a number of targets at West 45 (resource extension and exploration) and the remaining diamond drill rig will continue the current Far West Infill Program then commence the Far West Resource Extension program. Red River’s Managing Director Mel Palancian commented: “Following the mobilisation of a third drill rig to site, the pace of exploration activity has increased with two diamond drill rigs active at Far West and the third (universal) drill rig, drilling LTED04 at our Liontown East target. “The Far West Infill drilling program continues to deliver results with assays received for TH684, TH685 and TH686 “On completion of TH688, one diamond rig will be moved to West 45 to commence drilling several resource extension and exploration holes with one diamond rig remaining to complete the final four holes in the Far West infill drilling program, before commencing the Far West Resource Extension drilling program. “This increase in activity underlines our commitment to create value through exploration success and discover the next generation of orebodies within the highly prospective Mt Windsor Belt.” | |
