| ABSTRACT: | This report was prepared as a National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report (NI 43-101) for Red Eagle Exploration Ltd. By Giovanny J. Ortiz. The purpose of this report is to provide Red Eagle with an independent opinion on the technical aspects of the Vetas project. The Vetas Gold Project is located in the Department of Santander, Colombia, adjacent to the town of Vetas. Province of Soto Norte. Vetas town is approximately 24 km north of the town of Berlin, by gravel road. Berlin is 66 km east, by paved highway, of Bucaramanga, the capital city of the Department of Santander. The property consists of ten mining titles totaling 352.38 ha and is roughly centred on 7° 19’ 30.7” north latitude and 72° 18’ 43.7” west longitude (WGS-84 datum). Red Eagle through its wholly owned subsidiary Minera Vetas’ Colombian branch owns 100% of the mining rights of 10 mining titles formed by 7 exploitation licenses, 1 exploration license and 2 concession contracts. The district of California-Vetas has an important history of exploitation of gold. The high grade veins in the property host sizeable gold and silver resources that require additional exploration studies to define their potential. The exploration carried out by Red Eagle since 2009 has identified structures with more potential. The activities included an Induced Polarization geophysical study, surface and underground mapping and sampling, detailed structural investigations, and diamond drilling. | |
