| ABSTRACT: | Rafaella Resources Limited (ASX:RFR) (‘Rafaella’ or ‘the Company’) is pleased to announce an update on the current drilling programme at its recently acquired Santa Comba Tungsten project in Galicia, Spain. A total of 5 drill rigs are currently in operation at the Project, including 4 diamond drill (DD) rigs and 1 reverse circulation drill (RCD) rig. To date, Rafaella has completed 32 drill holes for over 4,230m (16 DD holes for 1,914m and 16 RCD holes for 2,316m). Drilling has focused on further investigating the JORC Inferred MRE defined for the Project1 (Fig. 1). Specifically, the Company has been targeting both lateral and depth extensions to the known resource with infill drilling. Drill assay results have been received from 3 additional drill holes. A summary of the assay highlights is listed in Table 1. These results confirm that shallow, near-surface tungsten (predominantly wolframite) mineralisation occurs outside the current resource envelope (Fig. 1). | |
