| ABSTRACT: | Pursuit Minerals Limited (ASX: PUR) (Pursuit or the Company) is pleased to announce that the first drill hole of the five hole drill program completed on the Bluebush Zinc Project, northwest Queensland (Figure One), intersected a broad interval of zinc and lead sulphides, returning an intersection of 134m @ 0.32% Zn and 0.13% Pb from 172.0m. The zinc and lead sulphides intersected in drill hole BB01-17 comprise the thickest intersection of sulphides recorded to date on the Bluebush Project. Pursuit Minerals’ Managing Director Jeremy Read said that the results from hole BB01-17 were intriguing due to the significant width of zinc and lead sulphides intersected and the bands of higher grade zinc within the overall mineralised package of rocks. “The results from drill hole BB01-17 confirm that Bluebush is a major SEDEX style zinc-lead system with significant potential,” Mr Read said. “With the holes drilled subsequent to BB01-17 and the assay results from this first hole, we are starting to define where we should undertake our follow up work and drilling in 2018, which was the main objective for this initial drill program “The geochemical results we receive for drill holes BB03-17, BB04-17 and BB05-17 will put the assays results from drill hole BB01-17 into context and that will allow us to determine which area we should conduct follow up drilling in 2018.” | |
