| ABSTRACT: | Primary Gold Limited (ASX: PGO) is pleased to announce receipt of the last results of the 5,600 metre drill program at Rustlers Roost and Quest 29 contained in the larger Mount Bundy Gold Project. This was the first drilling program (Figure 1) in the Mount Bundy area outside of the Toms Gully mining lease in approximately the last 20 years (Figure 2). In total, 38 drill holes were drilled, including four diamond core holes drilled that produced HQ sized core and 34 conventional reverse circulation (RC) drill holes. The completed drilling will form an integral part of the Mount Bundy Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) currently in progress that will include an update of the resource models and comprehensive metallurgical test work. Managing Director, Garry Mills, said “the final assay results of this 2017 drill program at Mount Bundy support the excellent initial results which should see an increase in resources and subsequently an expanded pit design at both Rustlers Roost and Quest 29, potentially adding more life to the already existing 9 year LOM in the scoping study completed earlier in the year. This, however, highlights the need for additional drill programs on these current brownfield areas and across the whole lease area where some 60 prospective targets have already been identified in this relatively virgin region of the NT.” | |
