ABSTRACT:Peel Mining (ASX:PEX) (“Peel” or the “Company”) is pleased to report new high-grade zinc-lead-silver assay results have been returned from the Company’s 100%-owned Wagga Tank project, south of Cobar in western NSW. Follow-up drilling has now extended the strike of significant zinc mineralisation at the Southern Nights discovery to ~700m length with mineralisation open in all directions. Drilling is continuing at the time of reporting with an expansion of activities now underway. Southern Nights, located ~1km south of the high-grade (Zn-Pb-Ag-Au-Cu) Wagga Tank deposit, was recently identified as hosting significant Wagga Tank-style mineralisation. Follow-up drilling undertaken over the past month has primarily tested the strike potential of this newly-recognised mineralisation, and as of 10 October, twenty-two RC drillholes (WTRC031, WTRC033-WTRC053) had been completed as part of this program. Encouragingly, the stratigraphic unit host to mineralisation at Wagga Tank/Southern Nights - the Vivigani Formation - has been intercepted in nearly all drillholes. Significant assay results received to date, are shown below (yellow highlighting denotes new results): Follow-up drilling currently underway at Southern Nights recommenced approximately a month ago and, as at the time of reporting, twenty-two RC drillholes (WTRC031, WTRC033-WTRC053 for 4,972m) had been completed. As aforementioned, the stratigraphic unit host to Wagga Tank mineralisation - the Vivigani Formation - has been intercepted in nearly all drillholes. Drilling has now defined significant zinc mineralisation (within the Vivigani Formation) over the ~700m of strike tested so far. Geological logging and interpretation, along with geochemical sampling, is ongoing at the time of reporting. References to mineralisation for drillholes with assays pending have been made based on visual logging and portable XRF analysis
