ABSTRACT:Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) was retained by Orezone Gold Corporation (Orezone) to prepare an independent Technical Report on the Bomboré Project (the Project or the Property), located in Burkina Faso, West Africa. The purpose of this Technical Report is to support an updated Mineral Resource estimate for the Project. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. RPA last visited the Property from October 10 to 13, 2014. There has been no additional drilling on the Property since December 2014. The Property consists of a contiguous block of mining tenures totalling 16,600 ha comprising a mining permit, an exploration permit, and three exploration permit applications located in Ganzourgou Province, approximately 85 km east of the capital of Ouagadougou. The Project is readily accessible by paved road from Ouagadougou. The Project was the subject of a 2013 Mineral Resource estimate update, a 2014 Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA), and a 2015 Feasibility Study (FS). In consideration of the recent geological re-interpretation of the mineralized domains coupled with restrictions on the grade modelling of the low grade domains as described in a press release dated August 22, 2016, a new Mineral Resource estimate has been prepared. An updated FS will be prepared to incorporate this new Mineral Resource estimate. The resource model was prepared by Orezone and audited, classified, and accepted by RPA as part of the Mineral Resource estimation (Table 1-1). The estimate conforms to the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) Definition Standards for Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves dated May 10, 2014 (CIM definitions).
