| ABSTRACT: | Norda Stelo was retained by Nouveau Monde Mining Enterprises Inc. (Nouveau Monde) to prepare a Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) on the Matawinie Graphite Project, located approximately 6 km to the southwest of the community of Saint-Michel-des-Saints. The purpose of this report is to summarize the results of the PEA. This Technical Report conforms to NI 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The PEA is based on open pit mining and processing of approximately 3,290 tonnes per day (tpd) via flotation and purification. The PEA projected mine life is 25.7 years, with potential for additional mine life via pit expansions, processing of low-grade stockpiles. The Project is close to established infrastructure including road and power transmission lines. The economic analysis contained in this Report is preliminary in nature and based on Mineral Resources that are not Mineral Reserves, and therefore, do not have demonstrated economic viability. There is no certainty that the reserves development, production, and economic forecasts on which this PEA is based will be realized. | |
