| ABSTRACT: | Navarre Minerals Limited (Navarre or the Company; ASX: NML) is pleased to announce further significant, shallow gold intersections from its current phase of drilling at its highly prospective 100%-owned Irvine Gold Project, located 15 kilometres south of Stawell in western Victoria (Figure 1). The results are from the final batch of assays received for the remaining 23 holes (holes IAC343 – IAC365) of a 54 hole air-core (AC) drilling program totalling approximately 3,200m at the Adventure Lode discovery and the Dutton prospect, within the Irvine Gold Project. The latest results complement those of the first 31 AC holes previously reported to the ASX on 1 May 2018. Drilling at the Adventure Lode has been highly successful. All 16 AC drill traverses recently completed have intersected the main quartz structure resulting in the definition of a higher-grade zone of gold mineralisation, approximately 800m in length and similar in style to the orebody geometries of the nearby 4Moz Magdala gold deposit at Stawell. | |
