| ABSTRACT: | Musgrave Minerals Ltd (“Musgrave” or “the Company”) (ASX: MGV) is pleased to report further high-grade assays from the recent reverse circulation (“RC”) drilling program at the Break of Day deposit on the Cue Project in Western Australia (Figures 1 and 4) Managing Director Rob Waugh commented, “These are further outstanding results and highlight the opportunity at Break of Day to grow the resource. The high-grade intersection in 17MORC127 highlights a significant high-grade pod at relatively shallow depths that will be potentially amenable to open-cut mining. The high–grade result in 17MORC120 on the Velvet lode at Break of Day highlights a significant target between Break of Day and the new Louise prospect 750m to the south. The team is currently planning the drilling and awaiting the permits to drill test this zone in January.” Break of Day currently hosts a combined (Indicated and Inferred) Mineral Resource of 868kt @ 7.15g/t Au for 199koz Au (see ASX announcement 14 July 2017, “Resource Estimate Exceeds 350koz Gold”) and the resource is expected to increase with further drilling. As several drill holes at Break of Day have intersected mineralisation beyond the current resource boundary and with high-grade gold being intersected over thick intervals in infill positions, the current resource estimate is expected to grow. | |
