ABSTRACT:Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) (“MINRES” or “The Company”) is pleased to announce the definition of an iron mineralisation Exploration Target1 defined over the Mt Richardson tenement including the following tonnage and grade range. The Exploration Target is based on the current geological understanding of the geometry of the mineralised Banded Iron Formation (BIF) zones. This understanding has been developed through exploration drilling completed to date and regional geological mapping. This Exploration Target has utilised data from historic drilling completed by Cliffs APIO between years 2011 and 2017. Cliffs completed a total of 434 holes for 31,936m of combined reverse circulation, RAB and diamond drilling across the prospect. The Exploration Target being conceptual in nature, takes no account of geological complexity, possible mining methods, or metallurgical characteristics. The Exploration Target has been estimated in order to provide an assessment of the possible scale of additional exploration required across the prospect area.
