| ABSTRACT: | Mincor Resources NL (ASX: MCR) is pleased to advise that it has received more strong assay results from the recently completed drilling program at its Widgiemooltha gold projects in Western Australia, adding further momentum to its advancing gold strategy. The latest results provide further strong support for the existing resource interpretations, while also revealing a potential new discovery very close to the Hronsky prospect. Mincor completed a major drilling program on its five Widgiemooltha gold prospects last month. The program was designed to infill and confirm Mincor’s existing resource interpretations, which estimate a current resource containing 177,080 ounces of gold in Indicated and Inferred Resources (Figure 1). The latest results provide strong support for the resource estimations at the West Oliver and Hronsky prospects. Together with the results released last week, this means that three out of the five Widgiemooltha prospects – West Oliver, Hronsky and the main central zone of Flinders – have now been largely confirmed by drilling, subject to diamond drill hole results, data integration and re-modelling. Assay results have not yet been received for the final two prospects, Darlek and Bass, and will be reported as they come to hand, together with four remaining holes at Hronsky. | |
