| ABSTRACT: | Mincor Resources NL (ASX: MCR, “Mincor” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a substantial increase (132%) in its nickel sulphide Ore Reserves in the Kambalda District of Western Australia. The updated Ore Reserves have been used for the Definitive Feasibility Study (“DFS”) on the Company’s integrated nickel re-start plan which is being released concurrently with this announcement on the ASX today. The updated Ore Reserves include a significant milestone for the Cassini Nickel Project, with the release of a maiden Ore Reserve of 34,300t nickel as detailed below. Cassini Ore Reserve The Ore Reserve estimate for Cassini as at 25 March 2020 is shown in table below. This estimate used the updated Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”) of 1.254Mt @ 4.0% Ni for 50,400t nickel, announced on 6 November 2019. The Probable Ore Reserve estimate used the Indicated Mineral Resource estimate with the application of mining methods, designs, schedules, cost estimates and modifying factors determined as part of the DFS and was prepared by Mincor technical staff in conjunction with Entech, an experienced and prominent mining engineering consultancy firm with significant Kambalda nickel experience. The Ore Reserve is exclusively sourced from material from within the Indicated Mineral Resource category. | |
