| ABSTRACT: | Millennium Minerals Limited (Millennium or Company – ASX: MOY) is pleased to provide an update on its exploration activities at the Nullagine Gold Project in WA’s Pilbara region. These results are currently being incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) with planning for follow-up drilling underway. Drilling at Majuba Hill indicates strong potential to grow Mineral Resource. First pass drilling at the newly identified Little Annie project delivers immediate success close to existing mine infrastructure. he Little Annie prospect is located within the Five-Mile Mining Centre, 8 km from the processing plant and only 375 m north of the Anne De Vidia deposit. Given these highly encouraging results from this first phase of RC drilling, follow up infill and extensional drill programs have been planned and will commence once all statutory approvals have been received. Four RC drilling rigs currently operating in conjunction with extensive surface sampling and geological mapping programmes to assist in further delineation of brownfields and new exploration targets. Continued heavy rain across much of the Pilbara and Kimberley region has impacted mining and haulage rates at the Nullagine project during January and February, 2017. | |
