| ABSTRACT: | Millennium Minerals Limited (Millennium or Company – ASX: MOY) is pleased to report some of the best gold assay results ever seen at its 100 per cent-owned Nullagine Gold Project (Project) in Western Australia as its strategy to grow Ore Reserves and mine life continues to gather momentum. The latest results include shallow bonanza-grade intercepts from the Little Wonder deposit, where recent drilling has confirmed the potential for a series of small, shallow open pits to link up to form one large open pit. The results include a standout intercept of 8 m @ 101.4 g/t Au from 21 m including 3 m @ 265.00 g/t Au in hole LWRD0154, together with a host of other high grade intercepts such as 15 m @ 4.75 g/t Au from 55 m including 5 m @ 12.2 g/t Au. Millennium has had three RC drilling rigs as well as a diamond rig (where required) operating at the Project for most of 2016 to assist with delineation of new Mineral Resources. The latest rounds of drilling have focused on several near-mine opportunities at the Little Wonder, Gambols Hill, Roscoes Reward and Crossing deposits, all of which are close to the Projects existing mining centres. All results received to date continue to confirm both extensions to known mineralisation and new mineralisation adjacent to well-established deposits and mining centres. The results show that Millennium’s strategy to grow its Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve inventories at the Project is firmly on track, with all of the new oxide results, together with those released previously, to be included in an updated Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve scheduled to be completed in October 2016 (Ore Reserve Update). | |
