| ABSTRACT: | Millennium Minerals Limited (Millennium or Company – ASX: MOY) is pleased to announce that it is on track to establish its maiden underground mining operation following the receipt of more strong drilling results from below the Bartons pit at its Nullagine project in WA’s Pilbara (Appendix 1). Recent deep drilling at Bartons has returned thick, high-grade intercepts which will underpin a maiden underground Mineral Resource, expected to be defined by the end of July, 2017. Millennium Minerals Limited (Millennium or Company – ASX: MOY) is pleased to announce that it is on track to establish its maiden underground mining operation following the receipt of more strong drilling results from below the Bartons pit at its Nullagine project in WA’s Pilbara (Appendix 1). Recent deep drilling at Bartons has returned thick, high-grade intercepts which will underpin a maiden underground Mineral Resource, expected to be defined by the end of July, 2017. Positive results received from these deeper drilling programs also now supports a substantial cutback on the existing Bartons open pit. Gold production from this cutback is expected to deliver ~24,000 ounces at an average head grade of ~2.20g/t. | |
