| ABSTRACT: | Millennium Minerals Limited (Millennium or Company – ASX: MOY) is pleased to announce outstanding drilling results which continue to highlight the potential to grow the production rate and increase mine life at the Nullagine Gold Project in WA’s Pilbara (Appendix 1). The high-grade results include intercepts of up to 36g/t gold, many of which lie immediately below the Bartons pit meaning the material could be accessed via a cutback. In light of these latest results, Millennium has commenced further drilling at Bartons to extend known mineralisation and upgrade it into JORC Resource classification. It will also continue to evaluate additional drilling programs below many of the 30 other deposits at Nullagine which remain open at depth. Recent metallurgical test work has demonstrated the fresh ore at Bartons can be processed using the existing CIL plant at Nullagine with +90% recoveries. The tests also showed that fresh ore from other deposits which cannot be processed through the CIL plant would generate strong recoveries using a conventional flotation circuit (refer ASX release 4 May 2017). Millennium’s Chief Executive Peter Cash said the Company was on the cusp of a major transformation at Nullagine. “The huge potential to grow the inventory, production and mine life becomes clearer with every round of drilling, test work and studies we do,” Mr Cash said. | |
