| ABSTRACT: | Metal Bank Limited (ASX: MBK) is pleased to provide the following drilling update on the New Constitution and Bald Hill prospects, Triumph Project in south-east Queensland, Australia. All results have now been received from the recently completed diamond drilling programme which included one hole for 339m at New Constitution and eight holes for 1066m at Bald Hill. Detailed IP geophysics has commenced over a number of priority targets including New Constitution, Bald Hill, and Handbrake Hill which are predominantly concealed by shallow cover. Further drilling (Reverse Circulation and Diamond), is planned to commence when the interpretation of IP geophysics data is completed. New Constitution, Handbrake Hill and Bald Hill prospects represent just three of the current ten high priority prospects within the Triumph gold camp with the other prospects yet to be drill tested. The Triumph gold camp is an intrusion related gold system of the type encountered in a number of large systems in Queensland such as Kidston (3.7Moz Au), Mt Leyshon (3.5Moz Au), Ravenswood (3Moz Au) and Mt Wright (1.3Moz Au). The New Constitution high-grade mineralisation (Au-Ag-Zn) and the Bald Hill high grade mineralisation (Au-Ag-Cu) are both interpreted to occur peripheral to the ‘mineralising source intrusive’. | |
