| ABSTRACT: | Metal Bank Limited (ASX: MBK) is pleased to provide the following drilling update comprising three reverse circulation (RC) drill holes for a total of 234m from the New Constitution prospect, Triumph Project in southeast Queensland, Australia. The high-grade mineralisation occurs within a plunging zone over the 200m strike length with mineralisation extending from near surface to greater than 250m below surface. Figure 1 shows a long section on the ‘discovery structure’ and the high-grade target zone based on drilling to date. Results from this programme provide strong support for the potential to define a near surface high-grade Au-Ag resource at New Constitution. This mineralised zone is one of the multiple parallel structures identified at New Constitution and is one of six prospects (including Big Hans, Super Hans, Bald Hill, Advance and Handbrake Hill), targeted for inclusion in the near surface high-grade Au-Ag resource inventory across the Triumph project. Tony Schreck, Managing Director of Metal Bank said: “Our drill results consistently support the potential to define a near surface high-grade gold resource across the Triumph project as we work towards discovering the large bulk tonnage style Au-Cu-Mo systems. Recent exploration by MBK has shown a connection between the high-grade style mineralisation and bulk tonnage style mineralisation on the project which is typical of other large gold deposits in Eastern Australia.” | |
