| ABSTRACT: | Metal Bank Limited (ASX: MBK) is pleased to provide the following drilling update from the Triumph Project in southeast Queensland, Australia. Results have been received from an initial reverse circulation (RC) drilling programme designed to investigate geophysical / geochemical targets within a 1.5km x 0.4km target corridor which is almost entirely concealed by shallow cover. Significant high-grade Au-Ag mineralisation wasintersected in this first pass programme. Four drill holes were completed for a total of 285m at Big Hans and Super Hans prospects within the new target corridor. Drilling from Big Hans prospect returned up to 18m @ 4.0g/t Au, 15g/t Ag from surface (including a 1m historical mine stope/void) and from Super Hans prospect, 3m @ 6.5g/t Au, 13g/t Ag from 6m. Figure 1 shows the location of Big Hans and Super Hans within the target corridor. This programme represents the first modern gold exploration to be undertaken across the broad target zone. Access to the zone has only recently been granted by the Department of Environment and Heritage following amendments to environmental boundaries, including the removal of a buffer zone around a National Park.
